Impossible to get an appointment. Call in by 8.10 and all the appointments are gone!! Yet waiting room is always empty. Very strange set up at this surgery
Avoid at all costs - USELESS DOCTORS SURGERY. Make you wait an hour for your appointment when you're early, but if you're late for your appointment by 10 minutes they refuse to see you even when you're seriously ill, and offer a new appointment in 2 weeks time - Pathetic,! Terrible staff, rude receptionists and Doctors who fob you off so they can get home ten minutes earlier. Will be reporting to the NHS Ombudsman!
Started using Barwell Medical Centre a good few years ago and for the first few years, rated all the doctors and staff very highly. Fast forward to the last couple of years and the patient care levels at this surgery have hit rock bottom. You meber get to see any of the gp's who used to be there instead you get appointments with doctors who really come across as though they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Staffing levels have dramatically decreased and compared to previous times, it is almost impossible to get an appointment!!! Thoroughly disgusted as a result and now looking to move to a different surgery in the hope the care levels are better.
I have used this surgery for many years and find the staff friendly and helpful. Booking online now means that on most occasions I can get to see a doctor within 24 hours. In an emergency the surgery has made every effort to accommodate my needs.
